Join us at the prestigious Tapawingo National Golf Club in St. Louis, MO, on Monday, October 14, 2024, as we golf and dine together to raise funds for children and adults with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS).
The event begins with lunch and registration at 11:00 a.m. You'll want to check out the great silent auction items before the shotgun starts at 12:30 p.m. After an invigorating round of golf, you'll enjoy dinner, a cash bar, awards, and prizes at 5:30 p.m.
The proceeds raised through the Amber Gaines Memorial Golf Classic will help the CdLS Foundation to continue to provide crucial support to people with CdLS and their families.
This is the 36th year that Madison County Wood Products (MCWP) and Pallet Logistics Management (PLM) have teamed up as title sponsors to put on this tournament. The event was renamed in 2020 after their inspiration, Amber Gaines, sadly passed away. Amber had CdLS. She was the beloved daughter of Doug and Barbara Gaines. Doug Gaines is a Vice President at MCWP.
The proceeds raised through the Amber Gaines Memorial Golf Classic will help the CdLS Foundation continue providing crucial support to people with CdLS and their families and caregivers.
Children and adults with CdLS face a lifetime of physical, cognitive, and medical challenges for which there is no cure. For parents hearing the diagnosis of this rare spectrum disorder, it can be devastating. Fortunately, an award-winning organization serves individuals living with CdLS and their families by offering them compassionate care, support services, and hope. That organization is the CdLS Foundation.
Founded in 1981, the CdLS Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit family support organization that ensures early and accurate CdLS diagnosis, promotes research into the causes and manifestations of the syndrome, and helps children and adults with CdLS and their families make informed decisions throughout their lives. The CdLS Foundation is the only organization in the nation dedicated to CdLS and is considered the world leader in research and support services.
Participating in this golf tournament, you help ensure that the CdLS Foundation has the funding to continue serving the CdLS community, and we are very grateful to you.
